Maybe. But he had the benefit of facing a past-prime Wlad and beat him in a notably-boring fight.

Tyson has had some really fun fights - but that Wlad contest in 2015 was not one of them.

I'd put the Sam Peter wins ahead of those. Peter's prime was undeniably short but he was a huge hitter. Then Haye - whom he completely neturalized (or was that "neutered"?) Povetkin comes next. Then Chagaev. Ibragimov was a really skillful guy, but not quite at the level of those others.

Vitali never lost a fight that he wasn't injured in.

As for Wlad. No way I'd call Corrie Sanders medicore. He never had focus and he had a woefully short prime, but he was the David Haye of his day.

Yea seems like in the future there will be a lack of TV dates so it will be hard for fighters to get to that many fights

It was brilliant. Great verbal antics throughout. He was only past prime after Fury whooped him.

He ducked him clearly because a man he beat without losing a round was so scary for him

Wlad is lucky he didn't get demotivated depressed Fury would have gone through him like a chisora laxative

Lots of empty words. Deeds are what count. Fury didn't fight him despite being contracted to do so. That's the fact.

Journeymen usually fight more than champs.

Povetkin remained in the top five in the division into his 40's.

Wlad wasn't focused for the fight with Fury, he was in the middle of difficulties with his postpartum girlfriend, and Fury was playing a lot of dirty head games (whining about the ring mat, making Wlad wrap his hands twice, etc.)

But Wlad despite being age 40 was fully focused for the rematches, Fury knew this and chickened out.

Nonsense, if Fury's minor tactics rattled Wlad then what kind of champion is he? The reason he really got rattled is because he is insecure. Desperate for a home advantage. Referee on his side. Trying to cheat with a thick ring canvas that Lennox laughed at. Wearing high heel boots (insecure) and tried to headbutt Fury....yet could not land a single glove on him. BUM DOSSER. Most overrated HW of all time in my books, good yes but overrated. Prime Fury would butter him.

DISGUSTING, THE STATE OF THAT CANVAS. How many midgets has to beaten on such a canvas? Many.

Love him or hate him, I certainly was a critic to some degree, but I always respected that he’ll have more KO’s than a lot of guys even have fights ffs.
