Cool post. I watched the 2005 Peter fight live and Peter was a formidable opponent at that time to say the least, and Wlad showed heaps of fortitude to stay in the fight and win it. I thought during it that his whole career was about to be out for the count.

As you inferred, Prime Povetkin, Chagaev, Ibragimov would be very tough fights for any of the top HWs today, including Usyk and Fury, Povetkin especially. Wlad used his clinching tactic a bit too often, but that was another attribute he had which made him all the harder to overcome.

Like listening to Conchita Wurst, eating Arab and Indian food and not drinking "haram" is any better?

There are sources that give figures in various places but not sure how accurate they are.

Haye fight - 32 million dollars
Sultan fight - 9 million dollars
Joshua fight - 22.5 million dollars
Fury fight - 22.5 million dollars
Povetkin fight - 17.5 million dollars
Jennings fight - 12.5 million dollars
    Peter 2 - 6.3 million dollars
    Wach - 6 million dollars

I appreciate Wlad way more than most and his brother also
Wlad would never lose to Fury and AJ if he was in his prime and Usyk? Not sure about that one, but it would have been a very interesting fight

For me the brothers are both ATG heavyweights, especially Wlad as he has the numbers to back it up, although I still think Vitali was the better fighter overall

Regarding HW Wlad is the last, but overall not:
Canelo W62 L2 D2 and on and on
    Manny Pacquiao W62 L8 D2

What he did, for so long, in the multi belt era, was definitely special.

Yeah if he could actually fight/defend his title more often like they used to he might have got at or near the 26 title defenses in a row record IMO.

You need to prove you're better and Vitali didn't do it. His resume is laughable to be honest.

That is fine, but I still think he would beat little brother imo and I bet I am far from alone on here. a poll would be interesting

It's only an opinion not a fact. I guess before the Tyson Holyfield match most people would have said Tyson sparks him, but that wouldn't matter. Vitali definitely doesn't have a better resume than Wlad and he didn't beat him, so saying he was a better fighter is kinda unfair to Wlad.

Never said was a fact, but watching them fight throughout their careers and with similar opponents at times, I still think Vitali is better and it is my opinion

His losing effort vs Lewis was a great loss if there is such a thing

He did batter the guys who bullied little brother (outside of Byrd) and compare their fights with Peter.
Vitali fought a lot of dross I agree, but he went years hardly dropping a round. Also as dominant as Wlad was, let's not pretend he has a resume filled with killers. his signature wins are the overhyped Haye and Povekin and quite frankly that povetkin fight was a disgrace

Although I have Wlad ahead because he has the longevity. It is the only reason he is ahead of Usyk too as a heavyweight (not close to usyk p4p all time), but imo Usyk has much more quality to his HW resume and if we are taking quantity out of the equation? Then I would also have usyk ahead

We can state opinion's you know. Not all facts are what they seem

So facts = Wlad better resume
Vitali = better fighter (IMO) maybe not yours

More than that, Wlad would never have been champion had Vitali not got injured and retired.

Wlad was fighting top contenders, while Vitali was fighting second and thirtd tier heavyweights. Vitali never unified, never beat the second best heayweight in the world and never proved he can win when the things go south. Every time he was really tested, he lost.

Wouldas don't exist. Vitali had a glass body and it impacted his career.
