They are all bums except four of them:
    • McIntyre (at time of fight 15( 8 )-1, WBC Int title)
    • Koch (at time of fight 25(21)-1, WBC Int title)
    • Jackson (at time of fight: 42( 38 )- 8 )
    • Vujecic (at time of fight: unbeaten 14(6)-0)
It's interesting to note that (after the loss to Puritty) Klitschko (unlike other boxers after losses) took on an unbeaten opponent (Vujecic 6'4'') instead of a clear bum.

So wait a minute....how did Wlad fight 27 non-bums then, if you aren't including 9 of these 13?

    Please clarify.

I watched a lot of old and a lot of classic fights. Don't worry.

Wlad is subject in a lot of my posts
    • because the other posters keep bringing him up
    • he is #1 in my calculation and I have to defend my calculation

Because Wlad fought more than these 13. For example Ibragimov and Byrd, who don't appear on your list.

Can you please list the 27 non-bums so as to avoid any confusion. Thank you!

I answered this already several times:
If you allow Dempsey to be 180+ then you allow Dempsey to use his speed AND mobility like it is NOT ALLOWED TODAY.

MOREOVER: In Dempsey case it doesn't even MATTER because he has fought too little heavyweight fights anyway. The same applies to Marciano.

Where it matters is Joe Louis.

No it's not. These are the rules OF TODAY's heavyweight tournaments: Cruisers are not fighting heavyies.

As I already wrote in post #271: My calculations work LIKE A CHARM on LaMar Clark:
    LaMar Clark's non-bum record is 0-2(2KO)
Clark is a beater of bums (similar to Eric Esch). That's why it's so important to delete bums from a record to get a first overview.

But in order for these "calculations" to mean anything, you have to carry it through.

When looking at someone's opponents to determine whether he is a "bum", you need to in turn look at the "bum ratio" of the opponents of the opponents, then the "bum ratio" of the opponents of the opponents of the opponents and so on and so on.

Otherwise the whole thing is MEANINGLESS.

Again, if you would, I would seriously like you to list the 27 non-bums on Wlad's records so as to avoid any confusion.

I can't belive such a ridiculous post has generated 28 pages, there really is to many boxing fans who think boxing has only existed for 4 years by this logic :yep

You keep asserting that weight divisions have minimum weights, which if true would lend more validity to your method, but if false would seem to undermine your exclusion of <200lb boxers. I thought I'd have a look at the regulations. The WBA regulations list only maximum weights:

    "11.- WEIGHT CATEGORY
11.1 World Champions shall be recognized in the following weight categories or division:
    CATEGORY MAXIMUM WEIGHT LIMIT
MINI FLYWEIGHT 105 Lbs. 47,62 Kgs.
LIGHT FLYWEIGHT 108 Lbs. 48,99 Kgs.
    FLYWEIGHT 112 Lbs. 50.80 Kgs.
SUPER FLYWEIGHT 115 Lbs. 52.16 Kgs.
    BANTAMWEIGHT 118 Lbs. 53.52 Kgs.
SUPER BANTAMWEIGHT 122 Lbs. 55,34 Kgs.
    FEATHERWEIGHT 126 Lbs. 57,15 Kgs.
SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT 130 Lbs. 58,97 Kgs.
    LIGHTWEIGHT 135 Lbs. 61,24 Kgs.
SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT 140 Lbs. 63,50 Kgs.
    WELTERWEIGHT 147 Lbs. 66,68 Kgs.
SUPER WELTERWEIGHT 154 Lbs. 69,85 Kgs.
    MIDDLE 160 Lbs. 72,58 Kgs.
SUPER MIDDLE 168 Lbs. 76,20 Kgs.
LIGHT HEAVY 175 Lbs. 79,38 Kgs.
    CRUISER 200 Lbs. 90.72 Kgs.
    HEAVY More 200 Lbs."

    There are NO minimum weights.
