Who was wlad facing four years into his career? Monte Barrett? Paea Wolfgram? David Bostice? Come on this is too funny.
Patterson wasn't a bum and in fact he would have beaten the vast majority of Wlad's comp. Cleveland Williams wasn't a bum either. (in actual fact that you would even call boxers bums tells me you're a loser with no respect for the sport)
Most first round knockouts in a carrer: 1.Young Otto (42) 2. Tiger Jack Fox (30) 3. Jack Dempsey (26)Get your facts straight. Dempsey doesn't have the most first round knockouts.
It doesnt take a genius to realise who's the nr1 guy in the division now, and frankly, i dont see why not fighting the number 2 be a problem since Dempsey also never fought Wills and Johnson ducked not only the number 1 contender, but also the next 3 best in his title reign. Subjective or not, it is pretty clear that WK's resume and title reign is more impressive then the guys mentioned above.

what youre saying means absolutely **** all. Tyson won the WBC title in less then 2 years since his debut, that does not make him better then Ali and neither does it make him a top5 HW.
Patterson was KO'd before. And Cleveland was ok at best. No Patterson would be in the lhw division, maybe in cruiserweight. Bum is relative to non bums. When I say bum it simply means they aren't very good.
It's about context Cael, Wlad did not face Lewis or Holyfield then someone said he was a Four year professional. Ali faced a HOF at just 22 years of age, if you considered wlad to be in the top 5 it's ridiculous. Louis & Ali are in a different class.
Would be a cruiserweight, you can't go by that, you have to go by how they did in their era, and the quality of comp. Who did Wlad beat that was so amazing? Did I miss something? I can't think of a single fighter he fought that I would consider all that good.
