While I never had any problems with Wlad, his style is starting to irritate me. I suppose it is not his fault for the lack of talent in the division, though. As much as any of you Wlad fans want to, you cant deny Wlad is untested. I wouldnt call him close to elite as he has no victories that can even hint at something like that. He can thrive, and call himself the best in the division, wear his fancy red robe with gold trim (which is very nice btw) and act like king.... but when it comes down to it... he is only king of the dwarfs. As for all the Golota comments. You guys can all laugh all you want at Golota's chokes. But when it comes down to it, he was honestly more skilled, and exciting then Wlad has been to date. His loses have all come by way of him choking, not being outclassed, or him being worse. He was his own worst enemy, and nobody else. A prime Golota takes todays Wlad easy, as well as a handful of other 90s era fighters. Sorry, but the fact is Wlad has not proven much yet.
Golota was better then Wlad is now. Also, your screename suggests you are Russian (among others). Did you guys know Wladimir is from the Ukraine? aka - Not Russian. This content is protected So I dont know if you are in a position to be making comments like the one above.
He is good. Many hate him. Some for being white and some for other reasons. I don't. But I also don't think he is ATG. He can claim HOF of course, but not ATG. He will have to do more. It most be frustrating for him, but his dominance almost works out to his disadvantage though.
If he retired tomorrow, where do you think this two time champion would rank on your all time HW's list?
Realistically he would probably rank above someone like Bowe, which is hard for me to say. Personally I think Bowe was much more exciting to watch than Klitschko, and I am a fan of the subtle nuances of the game. He is however, a long way from the Ali's, Holmes etc of this world and in my opinion doesn't come that close to Lewis or Holyfield. I appreciate the division is **** poor but Lewis would have done a better job at proving his dominance in this era than Wlad is doing right now. Can I ask what you think a prime Lewis would have done to Thomspon last night?
I don't think this is far wrong. However, I have Bowe inside my top 20, so you possibly would be rating him higher than me! I think of anything inside the top 30 as all time great because it means a fighter would be due consideration for an all time top 500 (not that i'll be having a crack at that **** anytime soon). Something very similair. Probably would have got him a couple of rounds earlier. I'll say KO8.
Because he sets the bar so high that others do not seem as credible opponents and therefore it is difficult for him to build the resume he probably wants.
Klit is awful! he's not even an all time good! he is just a big awful boxer beating up on weak ***** fighters.
