I would agree, but Wlad takes 10 rounds to knock out guys that for the most part would have been demolished very quickly by previous champions, and he's about the most limited modern HW champ in history apart from his size, and I've never seen a HW champ so scared to get hit. No inside game, no upper cut, no guile to his work, he panics easily, I could go on. If he was knocking people out in the first two rounds I'd probably be a fan, but he's dire to watch and he's never fought the number 2 in his division. I barely have him top 20.

    Outside the top 20.

    - He has never beaten a great fighter.
    - He has lost to sub-par opposition.

There isn't a single great fighter that I know of, who you could say the same about.

Almost every great fighter lost to sub-par opposition.

Let's say Wladimir would beat Evander Holyfield (a great fighter) in his next fight, would he then be inside the Top 20?

Agreed. But when his career is over I think he'll be top 10, since he'll end up with 20 or so title defenses.

If they did, they also beat someone good. Wlad hasn't done that.

And no, because Holyfield is shot. It'd be a meaningless win.

Wasn't Holmes shot when Tyson beat him?

Holmes was past prime similarly to how Lewis was past prime vs Vitali, not at his best, but not completely done and definitely still a threat, as proved by Holmes later fights.

Holyfield / Roy Jones are true definitions of shot fighters.

(Mike cleared out the HW division)

    This.
I cannot put him into top10 because of the reasons stated above plus the fact that he never has been undisputed and never has cleaned a division alone (instead he had to share challengers/defenses with his brother and so rely on his brother to partly clean a weak division).

Im not reall yin the business of forumulation my own lists but id probably have him 18-16. Couldnt really justify sticking him in the top 15, even though with the size difference of the old school guys he would head to head beat a few.

Just outside. I've got him sharing space with Liston, Dempsey, Wills, Jeffries, and Charles. Not quite top 10 yet, but he's in good company as it stands.

    :deal

Wlad's never even come close, plus he's been brutallY KO'd by bums at every stage of his career.
