Rahman was **** to **** and took the fight on only two weeks notice:patsch

How bad is his record that you have to mention Rahman at the end of his career:oops:

No, that his entirely false. Look at the Holyfield fights you moron. Lennox brought the same number of British fans over as Hatton did against Maywether.

How many Germans ever came to the US to watch Wlad. LOL.

There were people who thought lEWIS was boring but he still was one of the most popular boxers on the planet. Lewis was a massive star, he fought top opponents and his fights were massive events.

He was doing PPV numbers that Wlad can't match on free to air Epix type channels.:patsch

Wlad is completely irrelevant on the world boxing stage. Lewis never was.

Lewis left behind a legacy. Wlad flushed his down the tube long ago and when he finialy throws in the towel , nobody is going to notice.

Hard to say whilst he is still active.

He isn't 4 ever did as past his best now, but let's say the worst happens and Pulev knocks him out and he loses his comeback fight.

During his best years: Byrd-Lepai has he really shown enough the be considered one of the top talents in the divisions history? Accomplishment wise I would say absolutely. Talent wise I'm not too sure.

I do rate highly the victories over Byrd, Iggy, Chagaev, Peter, Haye and Povetkin. But time will tell if that is enough for me to rate him above those who came before.

I rate on h2h and his chin will always be a question mark. The more bug punchers he beats, the better. Although it has to be said atm it looks like his success depends in part on the enforcement prowess of the referee.

He has fought professionally 65 times...he got caught cold once... yes he lost two other times but Sanders caught him right.

I think his come back from such a devistating loss should be applauded rather than put all the emphasis on the actual loss. There have been a lot of hyped fighters who get beat and never return to the main stage...

Not only did wlad taste defeat he came back and dominated... I honestly think that deserves admiration not derision

Cheating in sport is never admired.

If Wlad behaved in any other sport like he does in boxing, he'd be heavily fined and suspended.

Lewis was never a draw. PPV sales were due to PPV customers willing to pay to see Holyfield and Tyson. Not Lewis.

Compare that to Mayweather is fighting a truck driver foreigner in Maidana on PPV in the US. When has Lewis ever done that? Lewis needed ATG/HOF level US opponents to get on PPV.

Was Lewis - Mavrovich on PPV? Was Lewis - Botha on PPV? Was Lewis - Vitali on PPV? No. Lewis was never a draw. Lewis - Rahman rematch (with American Rahman being the champ) was on HBO PPV and flopped at 450k.

The Klit's are fighting in one of the weakest versions of the HW division in the history of the sport.

It's not there fault at all, they can only fight whoever is ranked in their division. BUt neither man has a "signature" win over anyone who could be considered great.

I'm almost positive neither man has a win over a HOF fighter, and that right there is a major blemish on their resumes and what makes them fall out of the top 10 HW's of all time.

Wladimir is going through one of the most dominant runs in HW history, but his opponents have all been mediocre at best. I have no problem putting him in somewhere between 15-20 all time though.

You nit-picked a portion of my post you thought you could answer but still managed to get it wrong:rofl

Lewis sold PPV against Tua and Golota.

450k PPVs is far from a failure. Wlad can't even do that on free ESPN2:oops:.

For Pulev -the #1 HW challenger in the world- he is due to have ZERO American views...
