The only thing appalling is your ignorance. Yes there is a smaller contingent of British discreditors that mix in to the group. In total they are known as the ABCs(American & British complainers). You are among their ranks.

Seems like many Brits have serious issues with the Klitschko's as well with a great deal of the angst coming form the E. indian clade of peoples.

Other than that your post is spot on...

In that case you shouldn't watch it. It's the cure to insomnia. The level of opposition is quite embarrassing as well.

You should watch more boxing newby. Start with Holmes vs Shavers if you really want to know what 'great control of distance' looks like.

Wlad does not have it and i'll show you just one example.

    Look here.

    http://www.gifsoup.com/view4/1121334/wlad-kos-peter-o.gif

Wlad is failing and swinging his arms all over the place against the slow plodder Peter. He swings about 20 shots wrecklessly before he finally lands one.

Now look at how Robert Helenius controls Peter with footwork and dispatches him cleanly. If you watch that whole fight you will see Peter couldn't get near to Helinus.

Wlad was almost knocked out and spent most of the two fights hanging on for his life.

Great post!americans would love to have Wlad,Pulev,Povetkin,Haye,Fury etc..
If those were all americans they probably would say HW is comparable to 90's.

It's a sad think when americans don't dominate some weightclass,it's usually labelled as poor.funny that 140-147 pounds is consired the best weightclass and it's full of american talent.

We can only fantasy about how would boxing have looked if all soviet boxers would have turned pro in early days.i'm not saying they are better than americans, but definetly thinks would be more interesting

I think Wlad is a lock for the 10-15 spot right now. In order to crack the 7-10 area he needs to stay undefeated and have 1-2 memorable, big fights that he wins in spectacular fashion. Maybe get up from 1-2 knockdowns, win the fight. Then retire. Then the opponent becomes undisputed champ after Wlad. That would do heaps for Wlad's track record.

If you followed the Klitschkos career you'd know America -HBO- did have them.

Vitali was very popular on HBO.

HBO went to Germany to cover Wlad fight EIGHT times. Which one other boxer has HBO traveled to Europe for 8 times in recent memory??

America dumped him after he became unwatchable and a serial fouler. Even in Europe , he has now been relegated to Eurosport.
