Well, it's a fact that Wladimir lost to Sanders, Brewster and Purity via stoppage in the earlier part of his career.

It's also a fact that he is undefeated for about a decade, sitting at the top of division.

It's an opinion that his challengers weren't good or that his era was weak, not a fact.

A fact is that he beat undefeated Olympic gold medalist, multiple Olympic/Amateur medalists and many highly ranked contenders and undefeated opponents during his reign and also had won an Olympic gold medal himself. It's also a fact that he currently has 16 consecutive title defenses, third in history, and that's he is a second longest reigning heavyweight champion of all time.

Those are the facts, not opinions.

How did Lennox Lewis get knocked out by Rahman or McCall?

It's heavyweight boxing where one or two punches can end the fight at anytime. It's where the phrase "Punchers Chance" comes into play.

As far as I know, Marciano is the only HW Champ never to be KO'd that went undefeated and he knew when to quit.

It's been over 10 years since Wlad was KO'd. Must have been a frustrating DECADE for you!

why would Americans be jealous of the klitsckos?

secondly if wladmir was black, hed still just be a poor mans lennox lewis and 90% of his fans would switch to another sport than support a black man

needs to get to 20 defenses and take a few more 0's away (Pulev, Jennings, Fury) then we can talk. I didn't include Wilder because I think he gets savagely KOed by Stiverne in the Fall. If he can get to 20+ defenses and take the WBC it would be hard to argue against #10.

Well definitely not Haye since he flopped to the canvas 11 times rather than engage in a boxing match. One of the ironies of being a dominant fighter is you make the competition look mediocre. I heard the same thing about the SF 49ers in the 80's (That they won because their competition wasn't any good. Not true. It was because the 49ers were that much better than any other team) You could ask the same question about naming a classic fight during Joe Louis's "Bum Of The Month Club" win streak and he's considered an ATG by most :good

I just went through the whole list and displayed:

    Title Reign Length
    # of Defenses
    Notable Losses

    Unfortunately I got logged out.

You need to include the entire body of work (losses included).

It's silly to put someone like Walcott, Wills, Langford, Norton, McVey, Young, Moore, Liston, Bowe ahead of Wlad when: A) They have way too many losses and/or B) Spent very little (if any) time at the top.

He "might" crack top 20, but nowhere near top 10. Wlad just has no real quality wins, a lot of unimpressive performances in his wins, and his losses are bad ones. He gets credit for longevity and he's in a poor era, so his poor resume is not entirely his fault, but putting him in there as a top ten ATG HW is ridiculous.
