As much as I respect Wlad, I would personally put Vitali above him. I think both should be placed on the All Time HW list.

C'mon man Wach is borderline BUM, Norton beats him every time.
21 defenses is that including WBO belt when the champion was Lennox:huh

Wlad Klitschko is top 5 and everybody who is a serious boxing fan and boxing historian knows this. Youngest superheavyweight Olympic gold medalist in history at the tender age of 20, to date the second longest reigning heavyweight champion in history, rated as such by the U.S. based boxing publication, Ring Magazine. His record of accomplishment inside the squared circle for the last decade and a half rivals any professional fighter regardless of weight division. Great humanitarian too outside the ring. His charity work is really something special. He gives, like his big brother Vitali, both his money and time to folks in need throughout the world.

hard to find atg or Hof fighters in his divison when he crushes them so easily. If Wlad wasn't around, guys like Haye and Povetkin would be considered atg at heavy, with multiple defenses and spectacular kos

Bullcrap, you know this board would be all over a black Wlad-he would crush the previous champs by far, hands down
That means Ali, Foreman, Tyson and maybe Michael Spinks

I cant speak for the rest of the board as i dont pick/choose who i support based on colour.

No colour variation of Wlad crushes the aforementioned

If he was black or white, hes still a poor mans Lennox Lewis

I think you'll find thats actually a pattern for most heavyweights.

    Liston has Machen
    Tyson has Douglas
    Lewis has Mcall
    Holyfield has Moorer
    Vitali has Byrd
    Wladmir has Purrity etc

They all lost to guys they shouldnt have

If Wlad was not around Vitali would still beat all of them :hi:

Boy, I'd hate to be a student in your classroom. It would be very hard to get an A. Wlad needs 20 defenses to just get in the top ten? Forgetting that he is the youngest superheavyweight Olympic boxing gold medalist in history. Before his latest reign of terror as the top heavyweight champion at over eight years now and ranked third p4p by U.S. based publication Ring Magazine he won the WBO title from underrated Chris Byrd. He was the only huge man back then who could handle Byrd's speed. Lewis ran from Byrd for a reason. Wlad has actively campaigned to unify all the belts unlike Larry Holmes who couldn't be bothered to unify two. Wlad's accomplishments to date rank him top 5. The guy is pushing 40. Give him a break.

But he didn't dominate. This is a misconception.

He split the worst HW division in half with his brother and had him rematch the guys who beat him.

Vitali is also regarded by most to be the superior boxer.

Vitali may be off the scene now BUT Wlad has still fought NONE of the top contenders today.

    So he dominated noting.

Young Wlad is very different from Old Wlad. Old Wlad is a top 10 HW. The younger, prior to working with Steward, no. Guys like Foreman and Lewis would beat Young and Old. But Wlad is definitely up there, maybe around #10.
