Is Wladimir Klitschko a top ten ATG heavyweight?

The fact that Wlad and Vitali were both the best heavyweights for years should not be held against Wlad. Wlad was not going to fight his older brother and try to knock him out. Why? Because he is not a psychopath like Ted Bundy. Some things matter more than power, fame and money to normal human beings.

    Depends how you rank people

    H2H or accomplishments wise.

H2H is mythology. It is hard to predict how even current fighters are going to perform in the ring. Who would have thought Maidana would have given Floyd such a close fight? Accomplishments are the stuff of history; objective fact. Wlad, accomplishment wise is top 5 or just outside top 5 and he hasn't finished his reign of dominance.

with a ref that allows him to constantly hold and lay on his opponent's back all night, yes, he's top-ten. Without, I think he'd get ktfo by most of the top-20 HWs

Ali used those tactics for years against all his shorter opponents. You use the physical gifts you are born with and if you are gifted enough and work hard you can become a long-term champion like Wlad.

True, but having the ref's on the K2 payroll doesn't hurt either

    lol@ this fool.

Not even the *****'s and *******s claim Floyd and Manny are top 5-10 anything.

Show me where it says Wlad is one of the 5 greatest HWs to ever live:patsch

His 'reign of dominance' is gone down the tube when he ducks Pulev.

No 'ATG' constantly cherry picks bottom feeders like Wlad does.

Why didn't Foreman have to jump all over Frazier's back?
Why didn't Douglas have to jump all over Tyson's back?
Why didn't Holmes have to jump all over Shavers back?

And just look at the guys they were fighting. Wlad done more back humping to Mormeck than all those fights put together. I repeat -MORMECK. :nut:rofl

He couldn't out box his opponents like those authentic ATGs because he does not have the skills or ability of an ATG , because he is not an ATG:patsch

Do you accept the bet, now?

You seem to be more and more certain, Wlad is going to duck Pulev and trash his belt.

If I remember right, 2 of Klitschko's 3 losses occurred while Steward was training him. Personally, I think Klitschko utilized more two-handed skills and better movement when Sdunek trained him. The Steward, Lennox Lewis style is just too predictable.

If Stewad trained Wlad from the beginning of his career he should not have lost 1 fight.

Wlad lost with Emanuel Stewar 1 fight. The first one.

Wlad becomes a much better fighter with Emanuel Steward in his corner.

Miss him in Wlad´s corner. R.I.P. Emanuel. The best trainer ever.

As absurd as it may sound this may be right. Sanders may catch him but no way does he have the Purrity loss on his record which was a by product of bad management. No way do you schedule a fight against a durable opponent for 12 rounds when your young fighter has never even been past 8. And with a little more time together we saw what Wlad did in the rematch against Brewster.
While I don't beleive Emanuel was the best trainer ever I do beleieve he is great with heavies and belongs in the conversation with Blackburn, arcel and Futch

Ring Magazine, the bible of boxing, U.S. Based publication has Wlad not just top 5 heavyweight but top 3 p4p. From now on do your own research. You will be a better person for it.
