NO HEART?? You guys are ****ing unbelievable. Even when he was being beaten sensless and dead tired he kept getting up off the canvas. Hate on ***gots! One thing he did show was that he has heart.

Probably.....his size and athleticisim gives him great advantages as well but he is a pretty one demensional fighter....His Offense is just very good. He throws straight, accurate punches and has a great left hook off the jab that not many other HW today implement. I'd say his offense is the best out of all the HWs today. It use to be better though. Before his KO loss to sanders....but he's been getting back his confidence it seems.

Well said, a good pressure fighter with pop will destroy Wlad in less than 3 rounds. Wlad has being dominating lately because these fighters are letting him to do it, guys like Bryd, Brewster, and Austin all stayed on the outside and got beat down for it.

Even Charlie Zelenoff could beat a Heavybag, if you stand on the outside doing practically nothing, you will get knocked out.

    Peter / Brewster.

What Brewster isn't a pressure fighter with pop?

Brewster 2nd fight he was not the same Brewster and most people would agree with me on that. Peter however I feel if they fight again will try and pressure Wlad and see if he breaks, if he doesnt break I will be proved wrong. Both fighters are good pressure fighters, but if they dont apply that pressure on Wlad its obviously useless.

Wlad makes it so you can't. Because everytime you even think of coming in he blasts you, and on the rare occassion you get in he holds you.....he is good now at neutralizing pressure, thanks to Manny :deal

Hate?? There's no hate here. Calm down Beware, it's not the end of the world. Wlad's just not very good when you compare him with the greats.
Oh yes he is probably the best of a very weak lot but there is no one great today so being the best of this heavyweight group is not saying very much. If you disagree who do you think could be considered great today? That's right no one. So it's really impossible to see how great Wlad is when all competition is weak. and we do know that a couple of journeymen already beat him. And like you stated, yes he was being beaten sensless by a guy who was never very much, not much at all. Wlad is robotic, poor footwork, no defense at all just that long arm keeping guys away with it. We won't even go there regarding his chin. When compared to all the heavyweights in all eras he's average at best. And he's not hated. He's a nice guy who works hard at his craft and is very likeable and a good role model.Bbut hejust is not as good as his fans think he is.

I agree with that, I always said he would of never became champ without Manny. I do feel however there will come a time when Wlad will be pressured and tested, even more so than when Peter floored in him 05, if he shows heart and gets through being hurt badly he will be considered a real champ in my mind.

The competition is bad in the heavywieght division even a blind man could see that, but there is guys like Chagaev and Povetkin on the rise that hopefully will get the chance to test Wlad. Like I always say you got to beat a great to be a great, and Wlad hasnt done that yet IMO.

Holmes didn't really have a great era to prove himself either. Wlad fights a little robotic now, but he didn't used to. He is tall, it appears as he is more robotic then he really is. What are you 5'4", well if you were fighting against a tough 4'9" person, and used your jab and height then you may appear to be robotic also.
He has developed a style that minimizes risk and protects his "weakness", and it's working for him.....well!

I think at some point he will be knocked out again also, but that makes his fights even more exciting. He is definitely a liability to himself, but at the same time you can't deny his offensive potential. The guy is a frigg'n danger for any opponent.

his footwork is phenomenal...lewis even says so during the Austin fight. He can keep a guy at bay with just his left hand based on his footwork.

I agree, he is very dangerous fighter with power in both hands. His weak chin makes every fight a little more exciting, Im dying to see it tested one more time.

Im glad to have a discussion with a Wlad fan that isnt delusional and actually makes sense with his arguements, its good to know not every Wlad fan is gay or delusional.:good

I'm actually 6' 2". You must be thinking of Paez, 5' 4" and Troy Dorsey. 4' 9", two of the golden Fishnets hand-picked opponents :smoke
