I think he was a little blown up, though. He was often pushed around in the ring by his bigger opponents.

But still its possible for small men, becoming great fighters and champs. Just look at Rocky Balboa, he was only 5'10 at most, I think.:smooch

Ali's the greatest, for what he did for the sport. The division is a waste-land, you can't be serious.

OK so I was pushing it when I said spinks... but my point got across. The boys back then all had heavy hands to go along with good boxing skills. Klitschko is a very good fighter I personally think that he's still on the outside looking in due to the opponents he's faced and loss to... he should be undefeated. I can't imagine him coming up when ali, foreman, holmes, frazier, norton etc were all in the mix. He'd have atleast 10 losses.

not in the top ten even.

guy has been taking on weaklings for so long, when someone half decent came along he was blown away.

No specific order outside of tiers, H2H:

    Fury
    Wlad
    Lewis
    Vitali

    --

    Bowe
    Tyson
    Holyfield
    Foreman
    Ali
    Holmes
    Ibeabuchi
    Sanders
    Tua
    Povetkin

    Might crack top four soon:

    Hughie Fury
    Anthony Joshua
    Joseph Parker

If he knocks out Tyson Fury in the rematch ... and begins yet another reign ... ???

Fury won a decision by a wide margin - in my book - but if Fury was stopped in the rematch, that would kind of negate his win in the first fight IMO.

The door is still open, however slightly.

Vlad can probably go down in history as one of not the best HW in Russia, but internationally, hell no.
Outside of Europe (Russia/Germany) no one appreciates Vlad's flaunting of mediocre skills carried on an over sized steroid grown body. Dracos are for Germany.

H2H he's in the conversation. I'd rank that: 1A Lennox Lewis 1B Vitali Klitschko 3. Wlad Klitschko 4. Mike Tyson 5. Rid**** Bowe 6. Evander Holyfield with one or more of Fury, Povetkin, Wilder, Joshua and Parker likely to make their way on that list in the next couple years.

Resume/overall ranking, no. If he'd beat Fury, unified the titles, stayed champ for a few more years and broken Louis's records, he would have had a good claim to it. But that chance is gone.
