Is Wladimir Klitschko the most unreliable fighter in boxing?

That's the reason why I have no issue with people mocking Wlad here. We all know you can't help certain injuries but if it was the other way around, Mormeck would be accused of all sorts. Whether Haye was injured against Wlad or not, he was completely entitled to pull out of a three fight deal were he wasn't guaranteed any money at all, and yet the Klitschko fans continuously accused him of ducking because of it.

Who cares ? The fight was going to be a snoozefest anyway. Mormeck will have his chance at a title in a few months. Klitschko is still more active than a lot of fighters, even with all those injuries.

    Wladimir went through

    I'd say that makes him

Anybody who accuses Wlad of ducking Mormeck is a fool who doesn't understand the situation. He wants to fight on Dec 10, but had surgery on Saturday followed by complications. The kidney stones came at a bad time.

There are no doctors' reports for Diva Haye's faking her back problem in June 2009, but there are medical records of Wlad's kidney stone surgery.

I don't think anyone is accusing him of ducking. Just being a hypocrite.

    What is hypocritical about this?

**** happens, the fight will happen.

The key to being a successful Champion is always showing up at your best no matter who the opponent is. The man in your avatar learned that the hard way.

Diva Haye shamelessly ducked Vitali in August 2009.

Golden Boy Promotions had it set up and ready to go on HBO in September, but

and went for an easier opponent in plodding old Valuev.

Jack obsessively bashes the Klitschkos but he's never critical of Diva Haye. I wonder why?

Haye was paid more to fight Valuev than he would of got vs Vitali. He was also free to choose his next opponent which wouldnt have happened had he fought Vitali.

We're talking about fighters pulling out of contracted fights, not withdrawing from negotiations you cretin.

There is a difference between pulling out of a contracted fight, and simply looking elsewhere. Haye didn't sign a contract with Vitali, that is the difference here. Surely even you can see that? Ultimately Vitali paid the price for offering such abysmal contracts, because Haye was able to go elsewhere, fight for the belt, earn a shitload more money and not be tied to another two fights with the K bros.

Wlad has pulled out of 75% of his most recent fights. I can't think of another fighter who has done that.

If his body is giving up on him and he can only get fit for 1/4 of his fights he should retire. It's not fair on his opposition or all the fans who pay to see him fight.

He holds the belts so people want to sign to fight him, only for him to pick up another injury and pull out. Time for Wlad to **** or get of the pot.

Because when the boots on the other foot he would have a few words to say, wouldn't he!

LOL You Bringing Lewis into it. YAWN!

Lewis did learn the hard way, but he had more confidence in his ability than Wlad ever has.

Sure, that's why he picked 6'8 Hoffmann as a comeback fight right after surgery, took on Lewis on 13 days notice and offered Valuevl a career - high payday.

Vitali struggles with fighters who are totally defensive, not with someone like Valuev. He KO'd the prime version of Larry Donald who was robbed at age 40 against Valuev. And the TKO by Lewis was questionable, not brutal.

Of course Wlad is reliable. He can always be relied upon to get injured when he's due to face some black slickness (or should that be slick blackness? :huh)
