2 inches, 6'5 is not extremely tall for a heavyweight, considering the average height is probably 6'3.

He was robotic, but he was a brilliant infighter for his size...he showed that when his height was taken away he could still come out on top. Wlad to my knowledge, has never done this.

Where has he said he won't give him any credit?

Anytime Wlad has faced someone his own size (which has actually happened pretty often if you do your research) he fights in a much more aggressive manner as he cant just sit behind the jab all day.
He is not a inside fighter but he has never needed to be.

Also Wlad is 6.6 not 6.7 so its 1 inch.

I'd say it was closer 2, and my smaller I obv meant shorter, but, do you intend to answer any of the questions I directed at you?

He said he cant give him full credit, so by the same logic does that mean we cant give any fighter that has a physical advantage over a opponant full credit ?
Might as well write off RJJ career completely.

That picture is misleading as hell, it has Wlad as the exact same size as Vitali, which weve seen is nonsense when in boxing shoes.
We dont know the footwear they are using in that picture.
Wlad is a good bit shorter than Vitali so just take that into account and that puts him at almost the same size as Lewis there.

A lot of big tall guys are very slow & clumsy too, look at Sugar Nikolai for instance. Cooney, Tye Fields, Jess Willard, etc. were slow & sloppy too.

I think we can all agree that generally speaking, bigger people have an advantage a majority of the time. Once again, a majority, not all the time.

With that being said, these are HEAVYWEIGHTS. If you ***** about someone being too big, then lose weight and fight at LHW or CW. If you are 6'3 and above, you can't complain.

Gretzky, Jordan, Ali, Ruth, Ryan, Montana, etc. Were all either below average, average, or slightly above average in size (height + weight) and they DOMINATED their sports. Seriously, unless you are a 7'5 freak of nature, then you don't really have too many advantages.

Some taller fighters actually get forced into fighting a certain style, which may not be suited for them. That can be exploited by shorter guys.

    Awesome thread.

When people get inside him, during boxing bouts?

I didn't say he has to transform to become an inside fighter, but when he only fights in a style that uses no other form of fighting, other than being able to outreach someone, what do people expect?

But Vitali is clearly inclining his head to the left?

Pretty easy to work out, Wlad looks 2 inches bigger than someone that is 6'5. He has always looked one inch shorter than his brother, who is routinely touted as 6'8, in the picture you quoted, Vitali is leaning to the left, thus negating his height over Wlad.

A level picture with 6'5 Thompson....

Ali did not fight on the inside, you calling him 1 dimension as well?

And people expect him to dominate and for the most part KO his opponants, and he delivers just that.

And really after all the nonsense you spewed this is the little point you are going to focus on ?

You must hate Basketball then, because being tall is a huge advantage.
