Wlad has 9 defences not 11

While he has impressive amount of title defences, he hasn’t quite overcome Tyson and Lewis yet

Tyson had 10 successful title defences and Lennox had 14.

Wlad as I said has 9

He still looks the goods, bet alot of guys have taken more punches than him after 15 - 20 fights. Plus its in his genetics to age well (Vitali) and he seems to treat his body the right way.

I say Vitali retires early next year then Wlad rules alone without a loss till he retires at 40.

Wlad never had these extreme battles which take your substance away. He never had weight issues. I think he entered his prime recently and will be in it for at least 3 years or so. Remember Lennox had his prime between 33-37

No, might be a tiny bit past his absolute physical peak but mentally and technically he's at the top of his game. it's a prime wlad

No, he's within in his prime years. His age is fine and it's not like he's had absolute wars. Aerobically he may be past his prime, but strength increases and experience compensates for this. If he looks sh*t and gets beaten in this fight he was still prime - no excuses on this one.

I think Wlad is an easy favourite. I hope Haye wins, but it's going to be tough. I just haven't been impressed with Haye's aggression and work rate in his fights and I think he's going to need it to beat Wlad. No way he wins by hit and run in this one. Hopefully it was just game plan for those particular fights.

I think it will be either:

    1) Haye will be aggressive and successful in getting behind Wlads jab and win within 4.
    2) Haye will be unsuccessfull getting behind the jab, but carry on being aggressive and get knocked out in 7-8.
    3) Haye will be unsuccessful getting behing the jab, get hit by Wlad, stop being aggressive, throw 10 punches a round and it will be a boring and wide UD for Wlad.

I think each is about as likely as the other so a 1 in 3 shot for Haye.

I dont think he is past it but the injuries worry me as a fan because it was around this time the same thing happened to Vitali

I think Wlad is at his absolute peak right now. He's on top of his game and should put a beating on Haye. I like Haye and think he's a solid heavyweight but he's just not in Wlad's league right now.

I see Wlad being in his prime but I don't know how much longer he will stay there. He's at the point where his reflexes and hand speed should be diminishing. The reason they haven't( if they haven't) is that he keeps in great shape and hasn't been through any wars in the ring.

The thing that makes Wlad at his best right now is he has gotten so good at working behing that jab of his. It is one of the absolute best weapons in all of boxing and Wlad knows how to use it along with his size to totally control a fight. He's also better at clinching and protecting his chin.

Eventually, though, he is going to slow physically and even his technical improvements won't be able to save him. Wlad may be at his peak but he's probably at the end of it. He should start declining soon and in the next year or two he could get upset. Haye simply got to Wlad at a bad time, if this fight happened two years from now it could be a different story. But for now, Wlad beats Haye or anyone else he gets in the ring with.
