Nope, but it is bs that he is completely ignored, especially with some that are in front of him. Worst case scenario, he should be at #12.

Not yet. Just outside IMO, he is getting ignored.

There are to many guys in the top 10 at heavy he hasnt taken care of yet but in time.

If he can add one more belt in 2009, we"ll have to put him in there !

i got him at #9 right now. he should be in everyone's top 15 though. if he dusts off povetkin and valuev, i don't think even the biggest klitschko hater can deny him a top 10 ranking.

any news on the povetkin fight? do u actually help with wlad's training? if so, that's friggin awesome. :good

I think he is excluded from such lists for a reason.

First of all, these lists mean nothing so it's no big deal that he doesn't rate.

Secondly, the mythical P4P rankings rate fighters without regard to weight, in a world of "all things equal."

Well KLIT is the exact opposite of that. He excells due to his physical attributes...not to take away from his boxing skill, but let's be honest...if he weren't 6 and a half feet tall and 245lbs. he would be nowhere.

If a smaller man fought KLIT style he would be a loser. WLAD is the man at HW right now, nobody is taking that away from him...but he doesn't belong in the world of P4P.

    lets see

you have a domninant world champion in a weight class

had about 10 world title wins and fought loads of top 10 opposition and won virtually all by ko.

fought in his opponents backyard quite a few times and has been prepared to go on the road.

has one of the most dominant jabs in boxing and one of boxings 1 punch ko power right hands .

he is fast/hits hard/ and is very technically sound.

lost 2 world title fights and has taken on the best oppsition in his division .

i would have to look to see who is on the ring mag p4p list but it would be my guess that there will be fighters there who do not have either his technical abilty/his resume /have not fought half the top 10 fighters he has /and have not taken there belt into hostile territory and fought overseas/.

I like Wlad but gotta agree. I think people are "wowed" by his skill (which is solid) because of his size thinking that someone 6'6 shouldn't be as good as he is. Gotta agree tho if he were consistently fighting guys his own size and with equal athletecism, his results would be a bit different.
