Chef...you are definitely proving yourself a fine poster...afterall, you are a card carrying KLIT-ite, but you have no problem conceding Wlad is not entitled to placement on this list.:thumbsup

Most of us would rather be HW champ anyways...P4P is a fairy tale world.

Dude, don't even try to talk **** like some educational elitist. I have two degrees from two of the top universities in the states.

My response was because of an inherent attribute Wlad has (size) and thus that is the only reason he is good. You can take any inherent attribute from any athlete and say "without that, he sucks." It is cheap and poor logic and makes no sense whatever.

So obviously, shut the **** up because you are clueless.

    :rofl

It's still part of the logic that makes up the P4P list. There's only two ways to place a guy on a P4P list: resume, and theoretical H2H. His resume isn't one of the top 10 resumes out there, plain and simple, so if you want to even argue that he's top 10 P4P, then you need to get into the land of theoretical matchups. If you don't agree with the concept, then don't get involved in the conversation.

And I'm sure you have degrees from two top universities. It's easy to talk **** online. It's even easier to write in a way that makes sense, if you're actually educated.

That's great your educated...so you have no excuse.

You came in here with an attitude problem, spittin' venom...and it just so happens that everybody who knows what P4P is disagreed with you...and nobody appreciates you coming back in actin' a fool all over again.

I don't mind though...I look forward to the day we can have a decent boxing discussion...no matter how far way that may be.:good

I have him ay #10 currently, and if he beats Povetkin convincingly he could rise.

Once again, you don't get it.

And second, feel free to talk **** online, but while you were the backup on the jv team, I was playing in front of thousands of people. And you would never say any of this nonsense to my face, as if you actually did, you would be saying it to my chest and you would be way out of your weight class.

Yes, he's on his way to being a dominant champ and has mostly cleaned out the HW division.

More unification and I think he has to make the list. But like I said "p4p list" means nothing to most. Its a way for fans to debate and debate.

The only part about this P4P stuff that annoys me is why are we
always taking a heavyweight like Wlad and REDUCING his size so
he is suddenly a little guy like Pretty Boy without his size advantage
and so is easily outclassed? Why not INCREASE Floyd's size and make
him a 6 and a half foot dude without his tremendous welterweight
hand and foot speed. He might be a clumsy oaf like Austin or Thompson
that Wlad beats with ease. I go by the fighter's recent accomplishments
and his willingness to fight all comers and top-ten challengers.
Wlad is clearly top 10 on that basis. He fights Peter who most felt
would K.O. Wlad. He beats the man at heavy for the title, Byrd and
then beats one top ten fighter after another and unifies two belts.
Now he's fighting amateur superstar Povetkin next. That's a top 10
    P4pounder in my book.

Earlier on, I commented on what a giant Izzy Vasquez would do to him...it's not even worth getting into, the HW Title is a much more prestigous title than P4P.

I think you might be right. Every time I start thinking P4P matchups
    I inevitably get a splitting headache and wished I hadn't. But I
will hunt down that Izzy post as I am a glutton for punishment.

Boy, you have shot yourself in the foot with a 12 guage here, and still cant see it.

Getting all snobby about your 'education' makes no difference.

The whole meaning of the phrase 'POUND FOR POUND' is that SIZE is taken out of the equation you ****ing complete dumbass.

HWs are always ignored when talking about p4p. Like they are too slow or not skilled enough to be there. Wich is ridiculous because ppv means not taking weight in consideration. Wladimir is dispatching every opponent in his weight class. That sure means p4p to me.
