Also Foreman was KOing much smaller men. In fact Moorer was a blown up lightheavy himself. Foreman just took more punches....some of the small men took his shots...........:deal
No, as you can see I'm not entirly impartial but I don't think he has Foremanesque power. It's formidable but totally different. Maybe he's the biggest puncher in the current division, but I'm not sure of that either. And before anyone does, please don't start with Haye, he has no one punch KO power in HW to speak off. I read a lot of speed = power, speed kills etc. here but if you look at Foremans mass/punchspeed (or lack thereof) I can't find any explaination why he punches that hard. Shavers punched even harder by the way.
well to be honest you probably wouldnt be able to tell the diffrence between geting hit by forman and wlad both two strong ****ing punches what will break the glass jaws of esb posters
Wlad does have great power. To me, that's undisputable. But the fact is, he's reluctant to use that power because he lacks confidence in his chin. In fact, his entire style is predicated around protecting his chin. Foreman's style was seek and destroy.
Lyle and Ali said Shavers hit harder than Foreman, Holmes said Shavers hit harder than Tyson. Shavers never adapted to protect his chin as Wlad did, Of course Wlad has the benifit of being 6'6" to help keep out of distance of opponents bombs.
You can bet your bottom ruble that Wlad will be on his toes trying to keep his long jab in foreman's face at all times. Wlad is too smart and too athletic to chance slugging with foreman. I think they both hit harder than imaginable by most humans, but Foreman has serious chin creds to fall back on.
George Foreman's power. hmmm. You do know that Foreman's resume is littered with guys who have losing records and histories of going down early or going down to sub-par competition... It's not to say that Foreman's KO record isn't impressive, it's that it's not any more impressive then Wlad's.
Young 229 Frazier 2 224 Lyle 226 Ali 220 Nortan 225 All in the 70's,You are incorrect about Foreman's weight.
