Is Wlads trashtalking the most effective in the game?

    If a boxer during the build up say "I´ll knock you out" his opponent will just switch off, because he has heard it a million times before. But Wlad, who differs in personality compared to other boxers, comes with the weirdest angles. The "pizza face"-thing has now a life on it´s own, and I feel the "magic hand" was even more bizzare.

    While I don't think Hayes performence on the fight night will be affected by mind games, Wlad has now annoyed him to a point where he no longer will accept to be in the same room as the Dr. Steelhammer. His face when Wlad started to taunt him spoke on it's own :lol:.

    It it time to conclude that Wlad is the most effective trashtalker in the sport today? If not, who shines brighter and why? :think

    Lol..The magic hand thing was funny as ****, i hope he doesnt keep on doing it though to the point that it isnt funny anymore.

    Well, people are laughing at Wlad not with him. That's thematic difference. The heavyweight champion of the world should not be on TV doing silly hand signals and talking about his "magic hand".

    This is Wlad's era. He's the best heavyweight in the world and he should start acting like the most dominant fighter alive instead of this. It's not what a heavyweight champion should be doing.

    I think Hopkins is one of the most effective trash talkers nowadays. He really seems to be getting to Jean Pascal in recent conferences/interviews. Obviously Mayorga could still test even the strongest mentally-able fighters.

    You said "yeah" like you agreed with me. Did I say Hate's was better anywhere in that post?

    And Haye isn't cringeworthy when he talks. You may not like him but at least he's charismatic.

    'Magic Hand' was response for Haye's statement that Wlad is control freak -> Handshake = mind control. :)

    I don't know how good or effective Wlad's "trash talking" is but I have enjoyed watching pressers and interviews more than usually. Eating children is done to death and that quiet act suits somehow well for Haye at this stage of promotion.

    Wlad's a cool guy. He has good banter. Imagine being able to banter in Ukranian. The guy deserves respect.
