Is Wlads trashtalking the most effective in the game?

Neither Wlad or Haye impress me in this regard really. I find the whole thing quite cringeworthy to be honest. Haye's stuff is pretty basic playground-esque stuff, he may occassionally say something that gets a smile from me, but that's about it. Wlad, as cool of a guy as he is, just seems as though he's trying too hard to be funny. Some of the things he's said are just down right bizarre, the 'magic hand' being a prime example.

This press stuff isn't done for our benefit though, it's obviously intended to promote the fight to the casuals to bring in the £. Thank **** the talking will soon be stopping and they'll be getting in the ring!

 

That's not the point, numb-nuts. Were not talking about the most intelligent, or articulate trash talker, we're talking about the most effective. The trash talker who get's to their opponent the most, the trash talker who has the clearest effect on there opponents mentality. Both of the guys named have a clear habit of upsetting and getting to their opponents, causing them to act out of character or even affect their performances.

I genuinely found Wlad to be quite funny except for the magic hand thing which was just a bit weird and nonsensical. But at any rate, I rather he act like this than some humourless stoical Mr Niceguy.

But anyone who thinks Haye's charismatic or funny needs their brain checked. He's neither. Unless you think tired classless insults spat with venom (and a slight stutter) are the sorts of things worthy of Ali.

It's funny though, because we're talking about ****ing trash talking. The key is in the trash part. Yeah, sometimes fighters can go too far but the whole purpose of trash talking is to be loud, abrasive, cocky and, sometimes, hateful too. To criticize a guy for being a rude, offensive trash talker is absurd. It's meant to be like that.

Of course, leave it to Wlad fans for them to completely misunderstand what trash talking is and claim him to be effective at it, despite him being one of the nicest guys in the sport.

Jack my boy, can I ask you a personal question? Are you some kind of two bit, homeless, crack addict that has to sell your own arse hole to pay your rent? You know, I have never known you, but judging by your posts ( perhaps harshly, perhaps ) your main aspirations in life seem to be becoming some sort of two bit crack dealing gang banger from the projects.
