There are many here that like to rubbish Jr at every opportunity and down play his success, no surprises in the RBR

Many credible posters had it close and were appalled with the dirty fight that Eubank fought.... You're on the opposite end of the spectrum - a fanatical dick rider.

Funny thing is I have noticed a shift of late, Jr's fan base is becoming more vocal.
Haters are always vocal but after the WBSS they will be out numbered 10 to 1

You thought Chudinov could've won that fight with a different ref, you clearly don't remember the fight at all.
The ref looked to be on Chudinovs side and was blatantly trying to protect him from a stoppage loss. The whole of ringside was screaming at him to stop it.
There was no fouling and it wasn't close.
Post the rbr cos I don't remember any fouling from eubank..

I'm not a fanatical hater of Eubank Jr. He does some things great - what I'm not a fan of is his old man coddling him and carefully guiding his career, the toxic personalities of both outside of the ring - but he's got some world class attributes. That's irrefutable.

You obviously don't remember the fight... If you think Eubank didn't fight an incredibly dirty fight and that the ref wasn't on his side, or that the fight wasn't competitive until late. Google the Fury/Hammer and Eubank/Chudinov boxingforum24 RBR - should be one of the first results.

How is he toxic outside of the ring?
He doesn't do drugs, he doesn't swear @ 10 year old's and threaten them like Liam Williams.
He doesn't balloon up 50lbs between fights. He isn't foul mouthed like Saunders.

The only thing you can accuse him of is knowing his own worth. He is almost a trend setter in this regard.
The 1st dollar dropping to the boxer is a noble thought considering they put their health on the line.

Jr is one of the most dedicated and hard working fighters out there, that is something to actually admire.
The kid is well spoken and has a few brains, clearly more educated than the average boxer.

Its funny how many here were saying he was biting the hands that feed him and he would never make it without the backing of Hearn or Boxnation. They were saying he was out in the cold and had been blacklisted in the UK.

The bloke is a draw and ITV and the WBSS have recognised this, they realize he could be a star and are taking a punt on him. If he keeps winning he could come close to being an AJ level draw, might actually surpass him if AJ gets chinned.

Eubum Jr bashed Kell Brook on twitter for "quitting". That was after Eubum Jr ducked Golovkin like the plague and Kell Brook had to jump in the last minute to take that fight. Brook had to jump 2 weight classes to do that, while Eubum Jr was in the same weight class as Golovkin, yet he refused that fight. Also that was after he and his father both gave permanent injuries to fighters that didn't quit. Yet he bashed Brook for doing that, even though the risk of a permanent injury was very real. Eubum Jr is a vile POS nothing more.

Eubank jr lost the aura when losing to BJS.

Jr is already a well known fighter, beating fighters like Groves and Smith will be huge wins in the UK, they will solidify him.

I don't think he could ever match AJ if both keep winning and rightfully so. AJ fights in the Premier division of the sport he deserves to be the man. Jr would be no2 in the UK, he's a top 10 draw now, could even be top 5, probably just outside at this stage.

The way the fight played out Jr didn't lose much, but definitely needs a few big wins like against Groves and Smith to fully break through now.

Groves would help him breakthrough, smith does nothing to help improve his draw. IMO if eubank jr clearly wins the tournament then i could see him being a top5 draw easily. Maybe top3. He would become known to the mainstream public.
