No idea who you are pal so can’t comment on what type of poster you are other than a snidey clout chasing one based on this post. Start your own thread nobody’s stopping you.

I favour prime young CHRIS of the yildirim fight against any version of both these guys.

No buddy, not on its crappy own it wasn’t. It was acceptable with either multiple proper alphabets (Wlad) or lineal world championship (Pacquiao), stop getting it twisted.

We appreciate you are a huge Junior fan, but even you can’t argue that his career has been very underwhelming. Especially with all his gifts and undeserved opportunities.

So according to you the four alphabet titles are valid, and the lineal title is valid, that's five valid titles, but the IBO (six) isn't valid?

When Pacquiao was "champ" at 140lbs if I recall correctly he only held the IBO belt from the six listed above, was he not a valid champ at 140?

Lol! Firstly Yildirim is Euro level at best, secondly Jr got virtually shut out by Groves in his next fight five months later. I bet you were backing Jr to knock Groves out as well.

The Smith bros ( Liam and Callum) are just too fundamentally sound overall for a flawed brawler like Christopher Jr

Junior was outweighed by Groves by 35lbs in the ring on the night. Yet he STILL went toe to toe all night and took groves' arm home with him to put on his mantelpiece for good measure. Callum smith owes junior a huge debt of gratitude for his super series cup.

Stop getting all defensive about Eubank Jnr on this thread. The entire forum does not agree with your hugely biased take on his very mediocre career. We all have our favourites, but seriously get a grip. Last time I saw him he was staggering around the ring at the expense of a Smith brother and not even the best one.

If you must know, personally I was a lot happier when I was kid and we had the 3 recognised and respected belts which, sounds stupid I know, was fine and when a boxing world champ actually had credibility and was known by most sports fans.

I blame Eubank over here and De La Hoya in the US (who I’m a big fan of) for helping to recognise that ugly brown pos WBO belt.

Anyway back to Eubank, even RJJ couldn’t teach him the fundamentals. He’s terrible.

He did not out weigh him by 2 and a half stone. Stop this rubbish, you idiot.

    Probably.

His dad retired on a TKO loss while 2 years younger than Jr. will be when he faces Smith in the rematch. Jr.'s best trait has always been his chin so if that's gone (and he has to be far less confident in it now) then he's finished. The Roy Jones style failed him, that's another huge problem but does he have the chin or the ability now to go back to his old pressure style? I think his father having a strong chin made him overconfident in his ability to take punishment throughout his career, it looks like it's caught up with him. Plus iirc he was fighting at 165 lbs at 17 in the amateurs, he's almost 34 now and fighting at 160 lbs, so weight-draining is likely an issue (on top of the 157 Benn saga). He may have moved up to 168 in 2017 to ease that problem but he was too small at the weight. He's been a big star, made a lot of money and must suspect his best days are behind him, so is the same hunger and determination there? Smith will be even more confident and determined, knowing that he's only one punch away at any time.

This forum is strange, if you’re not Carlos Monzon then you are useless. Eubank ain’t no Mike Tyson but come on he’s a good fighter . Fights all comers and is definitely a warrior, isn’t that what we pay to see?!!

He can be a douche/inactive/poser but he’s definitely a world level guy that’s just came up short at the highest level.

FYI I don’t normally say douche but it’s an accepted word on here!!

To be fair looking back at the few fights before Smith I though he was looking a bit less impressive. Against Liam Williams I had him losing 7 rounds he just dropped him 4 times. Even before that he looked a bit gun shy and was going the distance or deeper into fights you'd expect him to win by stoppage early.
