Do you consider Zab a shot fighter? Or is he only starting to fade?

Definitely. I like the guy but he can't fight the elite. He'll continue getting embarrassed.

I dont think its that he's shot. He just cant compete with any of the big welters. He gives up too much. I mean this is a guy who only got a split against Chop Chop and Pineda. His biggest victories are defeats of Spinks and Junior Witter. While losing to Tszyu, Baldomir, Cotto, Mayweather and Clottey. 3 of which being stoppages.

A surprising and devasting loss would make him shot but he is far passed it and on a serious decline.

No, it's a bad move. Older fighters moving down in weight doesn't work. Judah was once a marvelously gifted fighter. But his talent has eroded and he has a feeble mind which spells very bad future outcomes.:smoke:smoke

The Witter win is nothing to brag about. Witter took the fight on very short notice and would easily beat him if they fought now. Zab's best win is still Ward and Spinks.

I am a closet Zab fan. I really admire his skills. Is he shot? I dont think so but I also agree he isnt in his prime. He is ont he downward slope but he still has most of his skills. I find him incredibly dangerous for anyone at 140. Zab can land one straight blinding left on anyone at 140 and it is lights out.

I still want to see him fight

It was all downhill after Tszyu starched him badly. People just thought he had something left because he went 1-1 against that runner Spinks. Had Judah stepped up and faced Margarito in 2005 he would have been exposed again before Baldomir did it. He's all but finished now and looked like crap even at 140.
