    When this bout started and they had the rounds listed as 12, I was worried that they had somehow decided to torture this poor Georgian journeyman lol I’m glad it’s 8 as originally planned for the replacement bout

    80-72 Konstantin Ponomarev

    Ponomarev was clearly the more skilled boxer, however he took several shots he probably could have avoided and his own shots never put a dent in Sutidze. He landed some clean left hooks and straight rights but never really looked close to hurting his opponent. No real urgency either, just kinda went through the rounds, winning them clearly but not pressing the action too much.

    Another close round, but Akavov had the better counters and ring generalship.

    Akavov in total control that round, but didn't land anything really big. Coria couldn't get any offense going.
