Mendoza wasn't doing too bad in the first couple of rounds; in fact you could argue him getting either - but his face was pounded into dog food by right hooks for most of round three. Lucky the ref didn't step in. Cserényi has no excuse to not get rid of him in the 4th.

Precious Harris-McCray vs. Sonya Lynn Dreiling, 4x2" rounds @ welterweight

 

Dreiling is clearly supposed to lose here (she is 6-5 and Harris McCray is 3-0) but she does have a victory over 7-time world titlist Chevelle Hallback.

Granted, that came a couple of years ago when Hallback was already in her 50s.

 

Guess this got promoted to a 6-rounder. BoxRec says 4.

Curtis Tyrone Harper vs. Deon Ronny Hale, 6 rounds @ heavyweight

 

You might assume Harper is the heavier man in there at 270lbs, but nope - Hale is a hale 'n' hearty 325.

If you're a math nerd like me, you know this means they combine for just shy of 600lbs. That's as much as some adult male grizzlies. Or three cruiserweights. Or five strawweights and five medium sized dogs.

 

Round 1

Harper sprints at Hale and gets him wobbling off balance straight away in the middle of the ring with a jab and chopping right into the guard. A couple of slashing uppercuts into the ample gut of Hale bring the gloves down and Harper catches him with a huge left hook. A moment of teetering and TIMBER! Hale's neck bounces across the bottom rope. He's out, crawling, disoriented, count abandoned.

KO1!!!!

 

Isaac Carbonell Portal vs. Cleotis Pendarvis, 6 rounds @ light heavyweight

 

Round 1

Pendarvis is keeping his distance, looking tiny compared with Carbonell. It's almost like they have the frames of guys that naturally belong 5 divisions apart (which is true).

Carbonell just following around, waiting for openings. Now and then a hard straight left on the body from Carbonell as Pendarvis is moving and shelling up, denying him any headshots. Pendarvis doing his best to go up on tiptoe and tee off against his gargantuan fellow southpaw when he's able to circle in close, mostly landing on his torso as he can't even reach his chin.
