His record of who he fought is insane. Clearly hes a guy who was never a promotional golden boy and just had to take what fights he can get. If he had been promoted correctly, he'd have probably been nurtured to a 25-0 record and fought for a title. Instead he was put in against killer after killer. Hes fought Alvarez, Kovalev, Gvozdyk, Bivol, Bellew(x2),Vlasov(x2), Silaygin and others like Iglesias who could well be a future star. Hes fought Alvarez,Gvozdyk, Kovalev and Bivol practically back to back. He has 9 losses and the only stoppage in his career was against Gvozdyk where he broke his hand. One of those overlooked guys who has fought, legitimately, everyone.
Alvarez A Kovalev A+ Gvozdyk A Bivol A Bellew B Vlasov B- Silaygin (good prospect) Iglesias (good prospect) His resume is absurd.
Some (ever so slightly) important context. Alvarez A - LOSS Kovalev A+ - LOSS Gvozdyk A - LOSS Bivol A - LOSS Bellew B - LOSS/DRAW Vlasov B- LOSS Silaygin (good prospect) - LOSS Iglesias (good prospect) - LOSS Isn't "resume" supposed to reflect achievement?
He's like the light heavy Dereck Chisora. Goes in with anyone, doesn't care about losses and gives as good as he can every time.
