Things are really heating in the super bantamweight division. You have: WBC - Rey Vargas. WBA - Daniel Roman. WBO - Isaac Dogboe IBF - TJ Doheny. You also have Rigondeaux. But the bottom line is that things are getting exciting at 122.
Dogboe would make for a good fight either way. He's young, confident, comes forward, and doesn't know any better. If Rigondeaux has anything left in the tank, he wrecks Dogboe.
You could put Dogboe against any of the champions and get a good fight. I think the best fight possible is Dogboe vs. Vargas from a pure stylistic standpoint. Dogboe vs. Roman would be a great fight for next year as Danny currently has a fight on the schedule. Perhaps Dogboe can look to unify the IBF belt first.
I half agree. Rigondeaux doesn't have the size to deal with someone this young, bullish, and fast anymore. Rigondeaux came during and era of sluggers who were not as savvy and he could out maneuver. This guy would beat Rigo up, far worse than being embarassed by Lomachenko. But the best need to fight the best so bring it on!!!!
Rigo never needed size. And fortunately for him, Dogboe is a midget like him. This content is protected Isaac is not that fleet footed. What Magdaleno did wrong, was he traded with Dogboe. But Magdaleno is not that good, tbf. When in the center of the ring, Dogboe was kinda lost. He wasn't able to set up anything solid. But to his credit, he did get Magdaleno to back up into the corners and onto the ropes. It would be interesting to see if Rigondeaux can outmaneuver Dogboe and what would happen on the ropes. But this fight will never happen, now that Rigo is with PBC.
