Wow looks like Hatton is going to back up those substantial claims of him being the best light welter on the planet by facing all comers.

Starting at the back of the queue.

:D Don't get me wrong, he's a perfectly decent world class fighter but hardly one of our greatest ever.

I wouldn't be happy not because he's fighting a nobody in a comeback fight. Plenty of great fighters have fought nobodies in comeback fights. But because he's talked a lot about giving back to his fans that came over to the US for him in his last three fights. To call a fight against Isaac Hlatshwayo giving back or to fight a guy like Hlatshwayo at home and then expect your fans to fly accross the atlantic for all of your other fights is a real slap in the face to your fans. This kind of **** is why fighters shouldn't be promoters. Because when its there ass on the line they can convince themselves that this kind of fight is ok (a-la DLH against forbs). If he's talked up his next fight as more then just a comeback fight against a bum then he has to deliver. I'm not going to go ape **** until this is official though.

In a list compliled recently by The Times, they put Hatton as the 10th greatest British boxer ever.

The Sun had an embarrassing list of the top 10 British fighters, so heavily stacked in modern fighters favour it wasn't funny

Joe and Ricky were 1 and 2, with Barry McGuigan 5

Eubank, Benn, and Hamed also made the list

Never heard of Jimmy Wilde clearly. Ted 'Kid' Lewis? Fitzsimmons? Driscoll? :-(
