oh yea ofcourse its quite pathetic the way some people have responded to hattons defeat he challenged the best and lost, but hatton is a great fighter and is now diminshed as this easy to beat british bum! like i mentioned hatton is a very very akward fighter to beat!
yeah I don't know about the times but any type of analysis, prediction, or lists such as this that come out of main stream british news papers or media outlets I completely disregard. It's all abunch of populist trash.
the only british paper i read is the star because its good for football lol, but as a back up the daily sport lol.
I still can not beleive this fight will happen and it looks like a **** take. Hatton has got to get a decent opponent for American TV. Unless they let him take a one fight gimme just to get his bearings back in the ring. I will be disapointed if this fight happens but that does not meen I will not be supprting him.
were was lyod honeyghan in that list? he is one of my favourite british fighters yea the sun aint really rememberd for its boxing brilliance! we can write better boxing collumns than have of those so called "writers"
I mean how can it be objective because the boxing columnist is warren and we know he will slag of hatton to no end because he dumped him.
I hope he comes to the ring with a group singing................... THERE'S ONLY ONE....Isaac Hlatshwayo. It has a nice ring to it
ahh is it frank warren who rights the collum! you can see how he will be more biased to his own stable fighters! yea at least when barry mcguigan writes his articles he gives a good insight on top young british boxers! i like to read him on the way to work evrey staurday morn in star i belive!
Hlatswayo isn't that bad. He was beating Kendall Holt (who arguably should be undefeated against some pretty good comp) until he wore down late in the fight and kept getting knocked down. He also beat Phillip N'Dou, Cassius Baloyi and Nate Campbell, who were all legitimate top 10 lightweights at the time (and Campbell was top 5). Problem is that he's a lightweight, and not one with a great chin. Either way it would be an exciting fight. Isaac's not afraid to mix it up and trade, and his chin almost assures that the fight will end in a knockout.
Cool! I feared the worst when this 'nobody' was announced but I checked boxrec and was pleasantly surprised by his record. Good to hear he was competitive against Holt as I saw that the scorecard was pretty wide. Of course we'll get a couple of well known Witter fans here soon to boot any objectivity into touch! P.S. Any idea what type of fighter Hlatswayo is?
