Cruz swangin' on that body. Roach dancing around firing quick pot shot jabs, but lets himself get walked into the ropes and hooked in the jaw as Cruz bends over and tosses his arm up blindly. Constant heavy pressure by Cruz. Roach has no solution yet except to slide his feet in reverse, paw out a few jabs, and then lean in to grab. Counter left hook by Roach late.

Stats have both landing 13 punches in the 1st - Cruz of 49 thrown and Roach of 46.

 

Honestly yeah Pitbull is almost too wussy a name for him.

 

Round 2

Cruz is stalking, fists bunched together in front of his chin, back arched. Roach is stilting his way around the ring, cautiously jabbing and sometimes daring to hook off the jab while twisting above the waist, but Cruz is flashing clusters of hard leather at him upon any opening. Roach holding. Ref quick to break them and push apart for a reset. Roach lands a jab and looping right into Cruz's left eye, partially exposed over his glove.
