I can sorta see it. I've never doubted Tank truly living up to his moniker; he's a compact ball of athletic explosiveness. What the jury's been out deliberating, for me, is his overall ability (taking into account ring IQ, adaptability in the face of adversity, etc) rather than physical talent, as he's got bags of that.

As for Chico, it was an open secret when he was active that homeboy was basically a middleweight cured like beef jerky and stuffed into a lightweight skin. You don't stop Popo Freitas, Abuelo García, Smoke Gainer, and late career peaking JLC without packing a wallop.

You could take a highlight reel of either guy, set it to a sick beat with a halfway decent rapper spitting fire over it, and show it to a casual or non-fan and watch their eyes widen (and then brace for a flood of questions from the new boxing acolyte).

 

Shay is both objectively level-headed and KSAB, and would provide better color analysis than Mora, Bradley, Ward, Kriegel, Lewis, Mancini - all these jokers.
