Ishe Smith calls out............ JESSE BRINKLEY~??

Ishe calls out everybody.

I remember during the Contender Ishe and Jesse were going against eachother in a physical contest.They were suppose to stand face front down on the ground on a baseball pitch and wait for a start to run the field or something like that.
I remember Brinkley blew dirt in Smith's eyes to get a front lead and win the contest.Ishe wasn't to happy.

 

They had beef during the show. Ishe wanted to fight him but Brinkley didn't want anything to do with it and picked someone else.

 

Ishe would have his number i think,

I dont like Brinkley one bit and Bute's going to hand him his ass

 

that never happened, or atleast i dont remember it.

 

I wouldn't say Ishe and Brinkley had something.
I would say Ishe had something against alot of people on that show.

But, he handled it in a cowardly manner. I remember being alittle shocked by how frightened Ishe looked when Kaddour was saying stuff to him. Ishe talked back alittle, but looked spooked.

 

I vaguely remember the show....
but I don't remember this either.

 

Ishe didn't make many friends in that show
Anyway, I don't think that fight will happen. Brinkley is now a SMW and Ishe should fight at JMW

Considering that it was Ishe on Contender who did dodge the first meeting with Ahmed Kaddour. What I do remember is that Brinkley thought that was cowardly.
Jesse then took the opportunity to fight Jonathan Reid (who along with Manfredo was considered the other actual talent on the show). When Brinkley took this fight he called Ishe's actions cowardly. Which they were.

Ishe's probably just bitter because 'how many years ago' Brinkley called him what he was.

 

i remember ishe and jesse arguing when ishe was going round criticizing peoples records saying they only fought bums and jesse called him out on it and they had a argument in the house were brinkley basically wanted 2 fight him there an then

 

Ishe is a big mouth and a hypocrite.

He calls out freakin' everyone. And because he has Greg Leon as an advisor, every time he has an opinion, it gets blasted all over the internet.

How many promoters has he signed with and been treated unfairly by? I think pretty much everyone. Dude, perhaps you are the problem?
His first contract was with Gary Shaw who got him on Shobox. Right after Ishe wanted to move on while the pickings were good and declared bankruptcy to get out of his contract. Now he cries constantly about how promoters are unfair to their fighters. He is a big freakin' hypocrite.

 

The full story between the two is that on the second episode of the Contender, the West team(Ishe's team), decided if they got the chance to choose their matchup, Ishe would step up and fight Ahmed Kaddour of the East team since both guys were talking tons of smack to each other and providing most of the "drama" in the house. Ishe decided not to do it at the last minute without telling his team, so Brinkley stepped up instead and decided to fight Jonathan Reid, but since he didn't think he'd be fighting beforehand, he had eaten a lot the night before so he had to sweat down a lot of weight quickly, which got him angry at Ishe.

On the flipside, later in the show, Brinkley, Manfredo, and Joey Gilbert started working together to help each other advance and because they were irritated at Ishe's prima donna nature, they voted back Ahmed Kaddour(who had been eliminated by Ishe earlier) when another participant had to leave due to chicken pox, simply to get in Ishe's head. Brinkley had a confrontation with Ishe later where both had words for each other, said he wanted to fight Ishe, and had the opportunity to fight him, but instead chose to have Ishe fight Sergio Mora when he had the chance, citing that he had a minor injury. Mora then eliminated Ishe in a close, controversial fight, costing Ishe his shot at the main prize.

Lastly, both guys tried to get a fight negotiated a while after the show, both talked a bunch of crap to each other, but the fight couldn't get made because Ishe wanted more money than the Contender promoters were willing to shell out and because he wanted Brinkley to come down to a catchweight of 156 since Middleweight wasn't Ishe's best weight and he felt that he was the draw of the matchup, while the Contender promoters felt Jesse was the draw.
