When making decisions, you can only go by statistics and what you know before the fight. If you bet a +1000 guy and he loses a close decision, that was a good bet, despite it losing. Betting the other guy at -1500 was a bad bet. I guess your system recommends betting -1000 favorites since they usually win. Therefore those are good bets :roll: I know a guy who lost a fortune on Karmazin -1500 and Aaron Williams -1200 after making steady gains by playing big favs.
agreed, the value in boxing is almost always on the dogs... 9 times out of 10... the rare times the value is on the favorite is when the dog is highly overrated by the betting public, as in the mayweather-hatton fight when mayweather could be gotten as less than a 2-1 favorite, which is ridiculous if you think about it now
