    Actually Ali used to be criticized lots for talking too much at one point Nat Fleischer who was the founder of the RING and a prominent voice in boxing did not have him in his top 10 all time heavyweights. However, over time he did prove himself to be taken seriously as the greatest of all time.

    In regards to Floyd I don't think he is on the level of a SRL or Duran or many others but at the same time I agree with you that its not entirely his fault he doesn't have the same available opposition as fighters in previous generations had. He is a hall of fame fighter and has awesome technical skills, he would not get criticized so much if he kept his mouth shout in my opinion. It is a double edged sword his mouth will get him unfair criticism in terms of his all time placement but at the same time it has made him a mainstream star.

    good read and i'm glad he was professional enough to reveal that he wasn't in training camp.
