Everytime when i see the words Japanese and Heavyweight in one sentence, I'm thinking it is about sumo-wrestlers.

I wonder how Ishida will do as a heavyweight.

Sucks this isn't being shown anywhere..... Well, most fights in Japan aren't unless a world title is at stake.

    Ishida apparently got robbed. :-(

Fujimoto in his victory interview reportedly ducked a rematch, saying Ishida was stronger than expected and he doesn't want to deal with him again.

Ishida despite missing his chance to contend for the Japanese heavyweight title (would've been in the rematch) is being called the 'people's champion' on Twitter.

    I see 77-75 | 77-75 | 77-76 scores.
    Must have been competitive match.

    Good ****.

Sucks for Ishida. Look forward to watching this eventually.

Shoot, I watched that 4 round sparring session he just had with the 1-0-1 Japanese HW in order to get sanctioned!

Ishida FTW. Bring on Deontay Wilder.

Still no video up anywhere... Hopefully one will pop up before the end of the week. Appears it was close with Ishida apparently outclassing Fujimoto before gassing out and giving some of the later rounds away. If it was as close as some spectators are saying it was then Ishida definitely deserves a crack at the title, it would be criminal not to give him one...

I'm in Ishida's corner. What stones. He has fought so many top fighters without fear @154-160 and now is doing this! Dream big and go for it. Wish I could have seen it.
