Ishida trying to make a career off of Kirkland lol

usually the guy who gets beat likes the rematch

anyway i saw the 1st bout largely as a fluke

Kirkland takes the rematch i imagine

keep it off HBO. A PPV undercard, ok, but don't waste a TV date on this.

I think its a interesting fight that Kirkland could win. That said, if I was Ishida I would go for a better pay day than fighting Kirkland. Plus, beating El Perro doesnt mean Kirkland even deserve the rematch

For Williams sake, I wouldn't want to see him vs Kirkland. He's got nothing to keep Kirkland off of him.

:good Angulo was very close to finishing Kirkland off that first round. The much rangier Ishida could very well do the same thing again.

Kirkland can't handle the slick Japanese fighters.

How can anyone who doesn't hate Williams want Kirkland/Williams? No more southpaws with big punching power for Williams. End of.

Agreed.. Ishida is a faster puncher than Angulo and is pretty tall, which is what I think gave Kirkland problems.. People can say Kirkland has a glass chin, but maybe Ishida is much stronger than we thought?

But like you said, I'd favor Kirkland, but wouldn't be surprised if Ishida won the rematch.. I doubt the fight gets made though.. Kirkland is coming off a huge win over Angulo.. Why take the risk again in fighting Ishida when he can get bigger fights now, such as Canelo..

He's got height and long arms, which is why I think Ishida gave Kirkland problems and was able to land easily as he was punching down, whereas Kirkland had to punch up.. I'd probably favor Kirkland though after the fights Williams been through..
