Isidro Ranoni Prieto is a 30 year old 6'0.5 Light Heavyweight with a 26-1-3 22 KO's record. Born in Capiata, Paraguay but now residing in Berazategui, Buenos Aires, Argentina his nicknames are Hero and El Guerrero. Isidro is a big burly predatory Paraguayan who has a very entertaining in ring style and presence, he's awkward and rugged like most fighters from Argentina even the ones who come by way of Paraguay. He's rangy and has an ambushing style and he packs quite a good punch. It remains to be seen if he is legit or not until he steps up in the intimidating stacked LHW Division, but unfortunately even if he is good he's probably not as good as Kovalev or Beterbiev. But I think he may be worth keeping an eye on, even if he's not top tier he may make for a good opponent for Fonfara or Campillo. So Check him out is El Guerrero your Hero, Give him a chance he might be.:toney:toney:toney:toney Educate Yourselves Prieto Vs. Alvarez This content is protected Prieto Vs. Barragan and Jackson Junior fights added.:deal He stops Jackson Junior in the 4th just like Chakhkiev.
Looks like a solid fringe contender, I don't know if he has anything to trouble Alvarez. Speaking of that, they must have some unreal sparring sessions in Montreal: Bute Stevenson Alvarez Pascal Beterbiev Ntetu Hyppolite No wonder they fight so infrequently.
Does Prieto have an Indongo like chance at the upset tonight? Can he be the first man to take Beterbiev the distance?
