Sally... i lived in the middle east for more than 10 years and in my experience if you can make money out of something then it is definitely not haram... whether its boxing or selling alcohol or pork...hypocracy at its finest. if you are going to preach from the mountain top and point out others indiscretions (which they do) then you had better be perfectly clean yourself.... religion is a way to control the masses and vulnerable people are a huge target as they need to believe that a better life awaits. how people believe any of it without question is beyond me in this day and age of scientific advancement. i do like the underlying moral code it tries to make but i think we can achieve this in our society without attaching it to a fairytale.... righto, religion is done, lets start the political debate!!
