Usually a kick like that Volk reacts quicker and avoids them, he had Yair throwing kicks at him and he was ready for them. No sparring for a long time probably had his reflexes off a bit.
Usman with a full camp and 5 rounds likely beats Chimaev. Volk likewise looked flat, drained and unprepared. Full camp he likely replicates the first fight at the very least. Hopefully future Abu Dhabi cards aren't marred by similar circumstances. This just leaves a bad taste.
