I said last night that he just took the L of 2018, leaving Linares before the Loma fight to train Haye. If Linares beats Loma, he’d either box a rematch or go into a Mikey Garcia fight presumably. Huge fights and a chance for Linares to go down as one of the best ever. Obviously Salas would have taken more money from the Haye fight due to the PPV money and he would have speculated on a possible Joshua megabucks showdown. But will he now go back to Linares with a begging bowl. It’s a major L for him no doubt about it. He just has Joyce now.
