In his fight against Despaigne he is announced at 6'3" and a half. Even Teddy Atlas talked about how tall he was. Upon doing research, I found he was listed at 6'1" in many places including boxrec. What's going on here?

I saw a picture with him and jones and he looked 4 inches taller to me, so I guess around 6.3

I remember people use to list Michael Nunn at 6'1 and he was definitely 6'3. You could see in the Iran Barkley fight that he was two inches taller than Barkley.

Most Lie about there Height! What is announced in the ring has usually been told to the announcer by the fighter. The announcer come around before the fight to check the fighters short colour design etc.

Yep. Williams is 6'3 minimum. Hearns was another one, Manny said he was something like 6'2.5", but its hard to match a freak like that coming up, so they played his height down a bit.

dont be so sure. most boxers heights are padded. although unlikely, jones may be as short as 5'9"

I'd say 6' 3" looks right. That range really helps him in the division since he knows how to use it effectively. Going to be one to watch in the coming years. He's only going to get better and even more fluid with his shots.

I dont know, but I'm on the Sillakh bandwagon, the guy has talent. I think Sillakh would take Cleverly's title right now!

  14. He's a badass. Hopefully he has a decent enough chin.
