All of these guys are more skilled then he is. Infact unless he shows me something soon I pretty much would have trouble rating him in the top 10.
Haye ducked out of his fights with Vlad and Vitali for good reason. Haye lunges, is off balance, has glass chin, no stamina, punches get wide. Was knocked out by cruiserweight. Was stopped by Solis as amateur. Refuses to fight a top ten heavyweight and has been running from Herbie Hide for years.
I was watching another Haye fight. He is off balance, lunges, punches get very wide, defense not good at all, has weak chin and no stamina.
When he wants to he can box beautifully, but he often gets sloppy and relies on his power in the right hand, goes head-hunting and lets his defense slip.
Skill-wise he still has much to learn. I'd say as akward as he looks, Vitali is actually the most skillful heavyweight out there ....aside from Toney and Holyfield who are way past it now. Haye probably takes the title of most naturally talented heavyweight right now.
