I thought a fighter is allowed 5 minutes to recover from an unintentional fowl and if he can't continue then the fight is stopped?

I think Devon should have been advised that. I think a lot of people are being unfair labeling him a quitter and a coward. Hes a reletively inexperienced pro compared to most other champions. Hes 23 years and after 300 AM fights its taking a while for him to adjust to the pros, and dont be fooled he is still learning. I think he felt his options were continue fighting right away or the fight will be stopped. Also there is a cut above your eye or in the corner of your eye it can sting like hell for a bit when you sweat into it.

Right...that's what I assumed too. Some sweat got into the cut.
