No he doesn't have a high KO ratio... but if he really had no power at all, then why does his sharp counter punching make just about every fighter he faces stop throwing? When is the last time you ever saw a fighter "go for broke" against Floyd? Yeah sure they get frustrated by not being able to hit him cleanly but he ends up walking guys down. Feather fisted people just don't do that. He does have brittle hands but his style is not to be a KO fighter, he doesn't have to be. Just my opinion, but fighters generally don't get walked down unless the punches are bothering them.
its hard to load up with hes in defensive mode hes got dick hands and plus hes fighting guys bigger than him
Floyd's KO ratio is almost the same as Pacquiao's. 58% v 61%. That's the thing with Floyd. He's so good at everything that people overlook that he's one of the most complete fighters in the history of boxing.
FMJ has got plenty of power....but it's just one of the tools in his well-stocked tool box so he doesn't use it as much as other fighters. Seriously, not even the most hard-headed try to "Chump" him.
A very large part of that is a product of Floyd's careful matchmaking. The opponents don't throw as much because they aren't really even close to Floyd's league and don't have the tools to deal with his movement and angles. He is an A+ level fighter that is content to show his skills against B and C class guys, so as a result he's rarely in a position where the opponent is forcing him to fight. As to his power, I think Floyd's power can best be described as respectable but nothing more. He doesn't sit down on his punches much, nor does he put his punches together much, because he wants to maintain his defensive base and won't ever risk getting caught to go for a stoppage.
