Isn't it a bit too early to be making pre-emptive excuses for GGG?

did these people change their prediction? if not, then it must not matter in the result. you cant say ggg looks old but he will destroy canelo, then say he didnt destroy canelo because hes old.

ive seen enough of both guys to realise the only chance Canelo has is if GGG has lost a step. This time next year i'd make Canelo favourite. Right now imo its getting closer, but I still expect ggg to win a hard fight! Depending on how hard i'd look at retiring after this

He should he look to retire? So the first elite guy he ever faced is going to end his career win or lose? Nobody called for Floyd to retire after he beat Cotto at 35. I really can't think of any fanbase that called for their guy to retire during the prime of his career.
You want him to retire because the competition around him is getting better. Stupid fanboy.

Dino u weak ****, talk to people that respect you Rudy... Nobodys ending anyones career, its called retirement, after a beautiful, dominating, lengthy, skull crushing career baby. Also stop comparing GGG to that con man that you would bend over for

I think Golovkin has slipped a little, but not nearly as much as (some) people are saying he has. I think that he still brings too much to the table for Canelo to handle, and that he's stopping Canelo late. If Canelo should beat him, I think credit is due where it's due, and I'd be forced to tip my hat to Alvarez for a job well done.

C'mon man, you can't be that naive to believe Vegas judges wouldn't be biased towards Canelo if it was to go to points. I think the majority of fight fans just want to see a good, clean, fair fight and for the best man to win, regardless of who it is.

I'm nearly with you on the above..Its took GGG to look vulnerable and a tad slow for this fight to be made, that much is obvious. I'm holding back with tipping my hat if it happens. It feels a little bit to me like a Mayweather situation! Until he/they had a little confidence booster or a chance, the fight wasn't getting made, if you get me bcs8 !

Im not a Floyd fanboy , im a fanboy of nobody. Floyd beating Cotto when he was the same age as GGG is now came into my head first so i went with that as an example.
Would you have liked it better if i said 35 y/o Wlad vs David Haye? The Kturds weren't calling on Wlad to retire after that fight cos he had a long line of bums before him he could easily beat.
You want GGG to cash out and retire cos you know he's on the brink of getting exposed. He's in the prime of his career and has no reason to retire other than avoiding tough competition providing he gets past Canelo.
If Canelo doesn't do the job on him Charlo will. Charlo unlike all the bums on his record is athletic and has legs.
Any slick mover with legs will make GGG look stupid.
This is why Sanchez if freaking out the fight had been ordered and why clowns like you are calling for him to retire in his prime.

Not saying that at all! Ali was not a P4P fighter at the time he got beat by Holmes. G is arguably the top fighter in the world today. Do I think a 35 year old G is as capable as a 28 year lod G, of course not, but he is still at the top of the game. There is no denying that!

And l'll bring up the fact you hoped Stevenson would get killed in the ring! You think you have some type of moral authority to call me out for what I say, when you've made statements just as bad as mine. And you do care what I think, that's why you'll quote this post of mine.

Yeah ggg fanboys getting their excuses ready. It's a pattern seen often around here when folks aren't confident about their boy toy.
