that the fight can instantly be made if Floyd gets someone to guarantee his purse. They say Arum will guarantee Pac's but not Floyd's. Then in the very next sentence Arum says that "Mayweather needs someone on his side to gurantee his purse but Mayweather has no one on his side and GBP will not guarantee him a purse that big". To me its like he can play that card anytime he wants then. What happened to the investors or anything else. Its like he's using that as a trump card by saying Floyd's his own promoter but his people dont have enough for that and GBP will not go out on a limb to guarantee that mega purse so there will be no fight as long as we do it like this. I cant believe he just flat out said that and people act like its not a big deal. They are making it more about the money then the fight. What happen to them for the last 18months saying all the issues have been resolved and money is not a factor. Was that only on Pac's side? Arum's being a snake again and Pac is playing along so easily that he's making me start to question if he even wants it right now
The most telling part of that quote was what he said after when he said that if Floyd wants to make a deal with him he will guarantee his purse and Mayweather with spilt his share of the revenue with Arum. Arum obviously wants this fight to himself and would juts love to spend money he made directly from Floyd.
Oh and I doubt Arum can guarantee both purses but GBP can't guarantee just Floyd's. Another bull**** made up excuse by Arum. How would he possibly even know that when he himself said he has not spoken to anyone from Mayweather team and money has never been an issue because........ Bob is seriously grasping at the straws.
Listen people, the people screwing this all up is Bob Arum and GBP. They are both full of crap, and they are the ones playing games. I know for sure Manny wants the fight, but I'm still not sure of Floyd because his father and uncle continue to talk about Manny being on roids and other crap, which obviously is making Floyd a little unsure of taking the fight. I know one thing for sure, If I can make another 5,10, 15, 20 millon or more, I'm doing it, and I'm sure you would also. Someone make the damn fight. How about this, take the fight to the jail? Winner take all, and the fight ends only when one guy can't get off the floor.
