Considering how expensive the pay-per-views wouldn't it be good if we could vote on which fighters we want to see fight on the next UFC card.

We would see the match ups that the majority of the people want to see.

No. Knuckleheads would **** up the voting and we'd end up seeing TUF fighters get title shots after losing their first fight on the TV show.

The fans have screwed it up before.

UFC 124 gave the fans the opportunity to vote on fight of the night. Of course, everybody voted for the main event (Kos v GSP) even though there were at least 3 other fights on that card more deserving of the award.

Dana even said it was a failed experiment and he wouldn't let that sort of thing happen again. So if the UFC won't even let the fans pick FotN, they're sure as hell not going to let them choose the match-ups.

That having been said, the fans usually get the match ups they want. Barring some kind of stupidity the fights that should happen do happen. I remember recently a match up was announced (I think it was Mir/Lesnar III) and the fans went nuts, so Dana **** canned it. It's in their best interest to put on the fights that fans want to see, and for the most part they do exactly that.

Yes... This is the perfect way to show that the UFC isn't like the WWE.

    True

  12. The match maker does a lot better job at deciding whats best, the fans have a say but lesnar v velazquez is a lot better than lesnar v kimbo.
