Isn't it sad that Julio Chavez Snr is hungrier about the sport than Chavez Jnr?

On the 2nd episode of 24/7, Chavez snr was talking about how he still runs 6 miles a day, he keeps analysing Martinez' fights, and he just generally seems more interested in the sport than Jnr does.

I still would like to see Chavez jnr win, but I feel that his half hearted attitude to training and motivation could be his downfall in this fight.

Does anyone agree about Chavez Snr?

Cause Chavez Snr is the born fighter and worked hard all his life to achieve what he did.

Chavez Jr just juices to get an unfair advantage in fights and then lives off his father's name.

I think his laziness or whatever is being over-estimated. I think behind the cameras he is working hard. He will be ready and fighting fit come fight night I would be very surprised if he wasn't. Rooting for Martinez

Thats simply how father and son trainer fighter relationships are, you see how the Mayweathers are. I'm sure the lightweight hate and annoyance of his father drives him in that ring

Sr. will always have more skills and more of a desire for fighting than his son.

If I knew Jr. in person I would of though of it him as a dick. Seems to me that's what he tends to be judging from his personality.

All the bull**** about Jr. being lazy and living off his father's name lol... you guys must be the biggest moron in the room wherever the **** you go.

Lazy, entitled rich boys don't decide to make a living getting PUNCHED IN THE GODDAM FACE. You don't reach Jr's level without some serious sacrifice. I don't care if you like him or not, that's no excuse for being a ****ing idiot.

boxing is a hurt game. Why get in it when you dont need money? And Chavez Jr is playing the game to perfection. If he wins its another ppv star in the making.
