isnt margarito still a touch match up for mayweather?

:good We tried telling them this for months but they wouldn't listen.

 

Mayweather beats margarito.. Margarito dont even have the one punch. And his hardest punches are wide ones that are slower then baldomir. Baldomir throws all str8 punches and could not touch floyd. You cannot hit the man with wide slow punches. It has never ever..ever happend in 38 fights. **** wont change. Margarito tried to change his style up this fight and do a little clottey shell mixed with trying to go down and up like castillo but his poor sloppy footwork and lack of accuracy and hand speed made him look even more pathetic. He had the right strategy to beat or KO Williams but he could not execute. Catch and go! that is what it is called. Block one of williams shots parry counter. Margarito got hit every time he opened up to counter..lol he got his punch off but he got hit twice in return. It aint supposed to go like that. Williams hands are not that fast. I mean you can counter the hell out of him b/c he leans in after he punched. But he just did the cha cha slide on margarito and he was befuddled. Margarito is a bum at boxing. But he is a good fighter and a great slugger. But sluggers get humiliated by floyd. Cintron has the best chance of a KO if it were possible b/c of that right hand bomb he has. He is a bum boxer, with dynamite in his right...lol.

 

Margo is wild slugger like mayorga only he is a whole lot slower but atleast Mayo has fought the best and has done good work in the past unlike Margo who despite having 5 losses still hasn't fought an elite or done any thing significant in the ring.

 

Great post you know what you're talking about with Margo trying to time and counter Williams but would get hit two times while trying to do it.:good

 

Good post. I rate AM more highly than you, but it's true about his attempts to counter. He is very slow. Floyd would embarrass him.

I will stop bashing margarito b/c he is what he is. It is not even worth an argument. I mean he never fought a really good or great fighter. For those that think he hits so hard. He really does not. Any fighter that is willing to plant his feet in the ground and wind up slow power haymaker hooks can get the same out of it. But you are taught not to do that in boxing so naturally most fighters(pro) are almost incapable of throwing wide shots like that. Margarito only and best assets is his chin and stamina. Without one or the other he would be a complete and utter bum. Without the stamina he would be a punching bag after round 8 if he dont get the job done. With no chin, we wont be talking about him right not. Nobody in boxing except gatti gets hit more flush. I mean dead right on the button. Clottey was hitting him like it was a video game. lol. But anyway. Margarito never made it to the level of elite top welter. He was more myth and internet lore..So with this loss he is back to the back of the other guys. He can talk **** to cintron only. Everybody else he cant say one word. B/c all the rest beat the guys they were supposed to.

 

Mayweather would counter Margo all day. This match up would look similar to Corrales fight.
